We are deeply grateful to Sister Lung Kim-sang for her care, support and trust in commissioning 'Wong Sze Master Series' to produce the highly anticipated The Last Emperor starring Lung Kim-sang.

Our collaboration with Sister Lung Kim-sang began in 2015 with The Purple Hairpin. She approaches Cantonese opera with utmost seriousness and passion, and is dedicated to passing on the art form to the younger generation, just as her mentors and predecessors did. She has generously shared her knowledge and expertise with us, performing alongside our young artists and providing invaluable guidance. We are truly grateful for her mentorship and support, which have benefited us immensely.

In 2019, Sister Lung Kim-sang led us in a 13-show run of Princess Changping at the Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon. After a six-year hiatus, her care and concern for the younger generation of Cantonese opera artists remain unchanged. We are honoured that she has accepted our sincere invitation once again to lead us in this grand production of The Last Emperor at the Xiqu Centre. The news has already created a buzz in the city, with opera enthusiasts from Hong Kong and beyond eagerly awaiting her return to the stage.

Wong Sze Master Series has always approached Cantonese opera with a serious and rigorous attitude, upholding the fine traditions of the art form while producing a diverse range of performances. With Sister Lung Kim-sang's support and trust in commissioning us with this important task, we will spare no effort in presenting The Last Emperor starring Lung Kim-sang. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to opera enthusiasts from all walks of life for their enthusiastic support.
